October
October was a busy and fun month! We finished our expedition project, and students walked away with new knowledge on their studied habitats and animals. Each student completed the expedition project with a diorama and book made by them.
We also started researching for our bearded dragon project. They are in the process of making a presentation for Mrs. Sauverwald about cost, environment, health, maintenance, food and background information. If approved, we will hopefully have a bearded dragon joining us at the end of November!
For the month of November and part of December, we will be working on a monster board game, which students will create and demonstrate their understanding of addition through this project. They are also creating a monster squad and personal monsters, and then use these characters in a newspaper article and story.
Thank you,
